Update 94 The Triple

94 is out!
New weapon, new vehicle, new companion and much more, let's go!!!!

Notable changes:
  • NEW MELEE WEAPON, THE CHAINSAW, RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IT IS DONE
  • NEW MOUNT, THE PEMASTODON, A GIANT PEM TO RIDE INTO BATTLE
  • NEW COMPANION, THE MANTODEA, HATCHED AND READY TO FIGHT


Proficiencies:
  • Proficiencies for new armor types, Light, Medium, and Heavy were added.
  • 3 new proficiencies for troops, assault, defense, and tactical.
  • Ships now have a proficiency attached to them
  • Mining and recycling now have XP, like other proficiencies.
  • Mining and recycling proficiency levels now have passive bonuses/stat gains
  • Mining and recycling will now start as soon as you interact with it (no confirmation required)
  • Agility proficiency added (jumping/hovering/flying/dashing/running)


Sound effects:
  • Footsteps will now sound differently depending on the terrain (mud, stone, deep water, shallow water, wood, metal)
  • Bipedal mech sound effects
  • Missile explosions sound effects
  • Laser beam impacts sound effects

Settings:
  • added new graphical options (more fine-tuning for performance)
  • The game will now warn you if your config is too low to run the game properly
  • The auto pickup will now trigger when you open the chest that drops at the end of an event

SFX:
  • Hits on different terrains will now show different special effects (mud, stone, deep water, wood, metal)
  • Hatchery eggs now have (a kickass) aura
  • The shotgun shield (right click) has been remade
  • New Shotgun hit and firing effects
  • New HUD effect on hit (shield)
  • New HUD effect on shield breaking
  • New HUD effect on hit (health)


Multiplayer:
  • Teammates' status will now be shown by the color of their names:【NEEDS TESTING】
  • Red: In a fight (cannot join a battle)
  • Yellow: Busy (cannot join a battle)
  • Green: Idle/waiting (can join a battle)
  • (we’ll add an AFK marker in the future)
  • Both hosts and non-hosts will now see a summary of items received during the battles
  • This summary will now also display your proficiency progress (+2 pistol proficiency!)


Balance changes:
  • Bipedal mechs can drop chests on kill
  • More pirates will spawn in all areas
  • Chests will spawn nearer to players after completing an activity
  • Weapon blueprints are now unlocked through their own proficiencies
  • Troops can now be upgraded
  • Equipment now has durability (weapons and armor)


Misc:
  • Ships, troops, and vehicles now have durability as well
  • Battlefields now have fog that will clear up as you battle
  • Stores will now refresh their inventories when (and if) a caravan reaches them
  • Items cannot be discarded while in space
  • New chests, Medium and Large
  • The game now displays how much you played EFAS in the main menu
  • New recyclable trash model (space map)
  • Asteroid belts will slow down your ship
  • Certain tips will be displayed after you rest at a space station
  • The reward track quest can now be triggered through a phone call when reaching lvl5
  • The game will be prettier and use fewer resources on low quality
  • The star map will now show you colonies you have not visited as well
  • Elites will not drop chests but items
